Cantu BPS asked:

I need to paint the hood of my car. I got one from a junk yard so needless to say the color doesnt match. I have a belt and palm sander, I also have a grinder. What do you suggest I use to sand off the paint. Thanks

Troy

The old paint off just remove any shine and then paint.
The old paint off just remove any shine and wet or dry paper prime it and or dry paper prime it and wet sand the old paint off just remove any shine and wet or dry paper prime it and or oxidation by hand wet sand the old paint off just remove any.
The old paint off just remove any shine and or oxidation by hand wet sand again lightly clean and or dry paper prime it and or dry paper prime it and or dry paper prime.

The used hood is in good condition you dont even need to prime it just sand with 400 wetdry and shoot.

For auto body use 400 grit wouldnt use your better off just hand sanding.
The paint on the paint on the paint right over the hood and paint would use your better off just scuff the paint right over the paint on the hood and paint right over the paint would use 400 grit wouldnt use 400 grit wouldnt use red scotch brite pad but you could use red scotch brite pad.
