The Closer The Darker asked:

“Belief is no more than an anticipation of future events”

What does this mean exactly?
e.g. How is the belief in God or ghosts an anticipation of future events?
Ok, but not all belief in God as anything to do with heaven or hell, as in Pantheism.

For simpler things if you can do something you can do it and it and it the same goes for simpler things if their future is to heaven so christians believe that they will happen.

When talking about belief or faith in god, it’s somewhat comparable to the relationship between a man and a woman in love. Which include belief, faith, trust, love, hope and knowing that the relationship will lead you to a better place.

when you believe in something or someone, the anticipated ideas of your beliefs either become truths and actual events (such as dying and heaven). Or you die with stupid beliefs.
