Belt moves left or right when adjusting. It will not stay in center. This belt is 6″ x 48″.
Have new belts none make any differance.
Tool maker machine builder for 50 years not new to this type of machine. NEED a person familiar with this machine.

The other thing is the other thing is the belt sander and even small adjs the other thing is the belt sander takes while to adjust you have very small adj ends up being lot make very small adjs the.
The belt could be bad.

Check that the adjuster springs have no play and that there aren’t loose set screws on the rollers.
