smudgeuk9 asked: We’ve an old house which we’re renovating. However, stripping paint from door frames etc is a nightmare. The layers of gloss come of fine with a heat gun but under neath these is a layer of brown paint which just turns to gue with the heat gun and then goes hard, its impossible to get off. Tried a sander (detail sander and belt sander) but it just clogs the sandpaper up making it all shiner. Any ideas. At the moment i’m scraping it off with a chisel but there must be a better solution. Thanks.
