Yes this is a very big confusion that people carry about power tools .people perceive that it is special for some work .but it is not like that .power tool is a tool for any purpose and have some more stability and strength in that machine .. It would be any thing a table saw or a drill or any tools .It is available in all brands as in dewalt ,bosch, etc

I got this information from one site

All tools fall into one of two categories: power tools or hand tools.

Power tools run on batteries or electricity.

Hand tools are just that, you have to provide the muscle to run them.

The other hand tools need hand power they both have there good qualities power tools need power hope this.
The area you need power that may not always be available and usually are slower but can fit almost anywhere and dont require any power that may not always be available and dont require any power hope this helped.

“Power” refers to electrical power used to run the tool. This can be AC (outlet or extension cord) or DC (battery operated). Others are called hand tools (hammer, screwdriver, etc.).

Quite handy; I can’t imagine drilling into con concrete by hand!
