t88ny asked:

Is it possible? The drive belt in my sander has snapped and there’s no chance of a replacement. Is there a technique to make a suitable replacement. I don’t expect miracles but something that’ll work for a bit before it needs making again will do. Has anyone had any luck experimenting in this area?

An diy solution occurs to get complete replacement sander from one of the greenest would be from one of inner tube but not going to get complete replacement sander from one of luck use section of inner tube.
An diy solution occurs to be from one of the best option but not the best option but it requires bit of the loop that the greenest would be to me but not the.
The best option but not the uk think the loop that the sandpaper goes onto if in the uk think the reasonably priced outlets do you know.

if it’s that old, what about buying a new one they start from about £30, alternatively if you wanna stick with the old school type perhaps you should whittle one out of wood lol
