I also know that KFC has been said to treat the chickens poorly, however why do these activists say that Colonel Sanders specifically was evil. Is this just a way to relay their message, or was he actually a “horrible old bastard” as I read somewhere?

There is a lot of wear on the 56 year old oak floors that were underneath carpet for 30+ years. Not only water stains and wear and tear, but also some blackish type of adhesive. Its not sticky or anything, just stubborn to scrape off. Will a big belt sander be enough to restore the floor, or will I have to somehow remove the black residue before sanding?
