Can I use my orbital sander instead of a DA sander to sand the paint off my car’s hood?

I don’t have a DA at my house, but I do have an orbital sander. I have only used a DA on cars before, but the orbital seems to work similarly. Can I uses them interchangeably without problems?

    You can sand down with an orbital sander, however because it will leave swirl marks I recommend that you wet sand, by hand between coats when you are priming and painting.

    My experience ive been these httpstoresshopebaycomsmithandarrow__w0qq_armrsz1 to do the class and it has worked great for me try it has worked great for me try it its called smith arrow top.
    The job and cheap too.
